For the last few years, neutrals have dominated interior design. With organic, coastal, and minimalist styles enchanting the world, we've seen many variations of whites, beiges, browns, and blacks taking center stage.

Personally, I am and always will be a color and pattern type of gal, but I can absolutely appreciate the beauty of neutrality. This year, however, is bringing in richer color tones, and I am here for it.

Elevated, Soothing Earth Hues

Inspiring earth tones this year include a range of rich browns, sage and olive tones, caramelized browns with pink and purple undertones, and muted blue palettes. These colors evoke feelings of calm and relaxation with organic and biophilic vibes.

I am really liking the color drenched or monochromatic look with these. The impact that you can make by layering these rich neutral tones is beautiful.

Rich, Opulent Jewel Tones

Jewel tones are always opulent and when used correctly, can completely elevate your space. This year, I'm seeing a lot of crimson, ruby, burgundy, violet, navy, and deep green tones.

These rich colors add depth to a room and are perfect for pairing with wallpaper and/or fabric patterns, making your room evocative. I love how you can play with these colors and make them your own within your home.

Nature-Inspired Brights

Reflecting the ongoing desire to bring nature into homes, this year I'm seeing a mix of bright tones being added to these earthy designs to introduce a pop of color and character. Blues, greens, yellows, and pinks are all fun, exotic, and bold natural brights that have become 2025 favorites to mix-in.

I love that people are moving out of their all-white era, taking risks, and having fun with design again.

At the end of the day, color trends are still just that, a trend. I always like to remind everyone that while trends are fun and inspirational, they are also fleeting. If you feel particularly moved by some of these new colors and the way that they're being integrated into a space, I recommend choosing small ways to intermix these style elements into your home little by little.

This allows you to enjoy the trends and maximize the style within your walls without having to completely redecorate every other season. Your home should be a true reflection of you and your likes, and I'd love to help you add personalized color to any space by showing you how to tie it all together.

If you love your home but feel less enthused with the current color palette, please reach out. With the Whole House Color Palette virtual package, I can help you create YOUR richly colored space!

Warmly,
Celeste
