2023 Design Trends Spotted at High Point Market
2023 has brought on some exciting new trends in big inspiring doses. The high point market has demonstrated that a healthy space can be created from bright, bold colors and prints to clean, organic, and layered designs. The growing flux this year is leading to beautiful ethereal rooms in homes.
Trend #1: High-End Laundry & Mudrooms
High-end laundry and mudrooms are becoming more and more in demand. Gone are the days when these rooms were kept hidden and unkept. Every inch of the home is important in today's design climate.
Sinks with cabinets, islands, beautiful lighting, comfortable seating, and storage options to hide the mess can all be expected from the entryways of homes in 2023.
Trend #2: Textured Walls: Limewash, Wallpaper, Plaster, & More
Limewash, wallpaper, and plaster are just a few ways in which wall textures are being introduced to rooms. These significantly impact the overall look and feel of the interior aesthetic. The elevation in style brings a sophisticated and dramatic touch.
Trend #3: Walk-In Pantries
Pantries are no longer a catch-all for food and beverage. Today, the walk-in pantry is treated as a visually appealing display. With every item having a designated place, nothing looks out of place, giving the same air throughout, from the pantry to the kitchen.
Adding a sink and counter-space levels up the space to a butler's pantry, giving the illusion of luxury to an otherwise forgotten part of the home.
